Captain (Pilot) / Alaska Airlines
Larry learned to fly in Florida during high school, after his mother suggested he take a flying lesson at age 14. After attending community college, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics from The University of North Dakota. During the Great Recession, he took time off from flying to work in a community mental health center, earning a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. A Certified Flight Instructor, Larry enjoys sharing the miracle of flight with first time fliers. He lives in Puyallup, Washington, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, two dogs, five adult children and four grandchildren.
