THE FEAR OF FLYING CLINIC

Heidi has been an Air Traffic controller since 1999, spending all but four of those years at Seattle Tower.  She went to college in North Dakota, receiving a bachelors degree in Aviation. She says she now has a job with the best view in town. She says her job never gets old--it is a little different everyday. She loves showing people the tower because it is a great perspective of teamwork between pilots and controllers. She says her job reminds her of a well-choreographed dance. She grew up in Minnesota but calls Seattle home now with her husband, two kids and golden retriever.
